A genuine U.S. Vietnam War era T-56-6 CVC (Combat Vehicle Crewman's) helmet. This helmet is made from laminated ballistic nylon and was used by crewmembers requiring access to the vehicles communications system, it was used by both the Marines and Army in various vehicles during the Vietnam War. This helmet is in excellent condition for its age, it features the 1st pattern MK-526A/G intercom system with a 2nd pattern M-138/G boom microphone. Headphone padding and fabric is in excellent shape. Webbing system is complete with front sweatband. Comes with the longer CX-10766/GR communications cable with U-229/U Connectors for VIC-1/PRC equipment. Webbing retains the original Sierra manufactures label that shows a DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number and is dated 1967 in a size Large. A very nice complete CVC helmet.
