A genuine U.S. Vietnam War era T-56-6 CVC (Combat Vehicle Crewman's) helmet. This helmet is made from laminated ballistic nylon and was used by crewmembers requiring access to the vehicles communications system, it was used by both the Marines and Army in various vehicles during the Vietnam War. This helmet is in excellent condition for its age and was made by Sierra and is dated June 1967 in a size Large, it retains its original suspension webbing with manufacturers label showing a government DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number, complete with headphones and boom microphone (M-138/G), has the SA-1552/G communication system, has an upgraded communications cable indicating this helmet was in service for some time. Retains the original dark green paintwork with stenciled number 132 in yellow to front, and the stenciled number 67 to back.
