A good example of a genuine U.S. Vietnam War era tropical jungle jacket. This is a 4th pattern jacket with short sleeves and made from cotton Rip-Stop Poplin. Has two early cut-edge Senior Airman rank patches to the shoulder sleeves, in-country made name tape patch & U.S. Air Force tape patch to chest, all the patches have shrinkage indicating they are period to the jacket. Issued in good condition with a some marks and stains mainly to the back, small tear to right front bottom (as pictured), not visible when the jacket it done up. Original manufactures labels present, the label size: Medium-Regular, Chest 37"-41", Height from 67" to 71", DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number dated 1970 and was made by Bonham Manufacturing Co Inc USA.

Additional size information: Armpit to armpit: 23" (Up to 46" chest). Shoulder to shoulder: 18". Length from shoulder to bottom: 31".

*Please note that original jungle fatigue jackets are cut and sewn oversized (by about 5 inches in the chest over the size on the manufacturer label) this is to allow for loose wear and ventilation in a tropical environment.
