A genuine U.S. Vietnam War era T-56-6 CVC (Combat Vehicle Crewman's) helmet. This helmet is made from laminated ballistic nylon and was used by crewmembers requiring access to the vehicles communications system, it was used by both the Marines and Army in various vehicles during the Vietnam War. This helmet is in excellent condition, it features the 2^nd pattern SA-1552/G intercom system with a 2^nd pattern M-138/G boom microphone. Headphone padding and fabric is in excellent shape. Webbing system is complete with front sweatband. Faint manufactures ink markings to the suspension webbing, helmet was made by Gentex and is dated 1967 in a size Large. A very nice CVC helmet.
