A genuine U.S. PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops) ballistic combat helmet, often referred to by the U.S. troops as 'The Kevlar' or 'The K-pot', it features a shell made from 19 layers of ballistic fabric Kevlar treated with a phenolic resin system and is rated at a Threat Level IIIA offering protection against shrapnel & ballistic threats. As used by the U.S. troops in the Iraq & Afghanistan wars. This helmet is in excellent condition and is in a size Large, faint manufacturer ink stamp with DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) contract number dated 1983, was made by Gentex USA and has a mould date manufacture of 1984/85. It retains its original webbing and chin strap & original U.S. sweatband. Helmet comes with a genuine U.S. PASGT helmet cover in DCU 3 colour camouflage, features a genuine 327th Infantry 1st Battalion patch to front, a unit that was deployed as a part of Operation Desert Shield during the Gulf War. And has a genuine U.S. elastic helmet band with cat's eyes to back.
