A genuine World War 2 U.S. M1 helmet. This M1 steel pot was original made by McCord during WW2 with a front seam and has a heat stamp number: 367A indicating it was made in November 1942, original corking remains on the helmet and has been repainted to appear like a Medics helmet, it retains the original OD7 chin strap with original blacked steel metalwork fittings. Comes supplied with an original U.S. P55 liner made by Westinghouse with original OD7 webbing, liner is in excellent shape and has an original U.S. sweatband and original U.S. nape strap, attached to the liner is a good quality leather chin strap.
