A genuine U.S. Army/USMC ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) M1 helmet cover. The ERDL leaf pattern camouflage was originally developed by the U.S. in the late 40's and was not used on M1 helmets until the end of the Vietnam War by the USMC, this camouflage is the brown dominant 'Highland' variant that is in good condition with a couple of small holes, and has the DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) ink contract markings dated 1978.
