Genuine U.S. Army Vietnam War era M1956 1 quart canteen cover, this is a 1st pattern with two snap fasteners to font and slide keepers/Alice clips to back, DA (Defense Agency) ink contract number to back and was manufactured in 1961, in good condition with a couple of small field repairs. The genuine U.S. M1961 1 quart plastic polyethylene canteen is in very good shape and is 'U.S.' marked and dated 1972 made by Zarn and has the NBC cap first introduced in 1969.
