Genuine U.S. Army Vietnam War era M1956 1 quart canteen cover, this is a 1st pattern with two snap fasteners to font and slide keepers/Alice clips to back, DSA (Defense Supply Agency) ink contract number to back and was manufactured in 1963, in excellent condition. The genuine U.S. M1910 1 quart aluminum was made by Mirro in 1962 and was the last date of this style made before moving to plastic with the M1961.
