An excellent example of a genuine U.S. Army M1965 Field Jacket. The M65 jacket was introduced into U.S. military service in 1965 and was the replacement for the M51 jacket, it included a built in hood that could be rolled up into a pouch around the neck, it also had Velcro fasteners to the sleeve cuffs and collar and was widely used during the Vietnam War and continued to be used up until the late 90's.
This small-regular sized M65 OG-107 jacket is in very good issued condition with some small marks. Poppers and zippers are all in great shape and fully working, all the buttons are present. Retains the original hood. Lower drawstring missing, original waist drawstring present. Has original name & U.S. Army tape patches to chest, with original 4th Infantry Division shoulder sleeve patch. Retains the original white manufactures label, faded size and contract details, being a white label this indicates it was made in the 1960's to early 1970's.
Additional size information: Armpit to armpit: 21" (up to 42" chest). Shoulder to shoulder: 19". Length from shoulder to bottom: 31". Armpit to cuff: 19".
