A genuine World War 2 U.S. Legitimus Collins & Co 1250 machete & sheath. Collins & Co was awarded various Allied contracts throughout World War 2. This particular machete was typically issued to be carried on tanks and vehicles in Europe, and was used by the U.S., British & Canadians during WW2. The machete is in excellent condition with a nice clean blade, original markers marks are clearly visible with the model number and 1940 manufacturer date. The sheath is also in excellent conditon with belt loop to back.
