A genuine U.S. Vietnam War era ACR RT-10 Survival Radio used by pilots as part of their survival load out, was also used by SOG teams and often carried in the upper left pocket of the jungle uniform. This 243Mhz band receiver and transmitter radio was operated by pulling the antenna all the way out and would trip a switch in the base. The radio could transmit either voice or homing signal, it could last up to 30 hours and had a range of 20 miles for homing, or 10 miles for voice. It retains the manufactures information plates and has a U.S. contract number that dates its manufacture to 1968. No battery. Was made by ACR Electronics Division Chromalloy American Corp NY USA.
