A genuine U.S. M1 helmet liner. Originally released in 1972 this was the last variation of liner for the M1 helmet featuring detachable webbing. This liner has soldiers hand notations inside: SP4 Luis Filion Muniz 544th (Military Police Detachment) 583-78-6565 (service number) MP Co. The liner has a black painted exterior, you can just about make out where the MP letters and white stripes are underneath the black re-paint. Has a DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number, with a manufactuers date of September 1973. Comes with a genuine U.S. sweatband with a DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) contract number dated 1983.
