A genuine World War 2 U.S. M1 helmet & liner. The helmet was made by McCord and has a front seam, the khaki/tan chin straps are original with period manufactures stitching, has original metalwork, the heat stamp number of the helmet is: 1016F that dates its manufacture to around July/August 1944. Helmet appears to have been re-painted at some point. The liner was made by International Molded Plastics Inc USA and retains its original khaki/tan webbing, has a genuine U.S. WW2 nape strap with manufacture ink markings, sweatband is also genuine U.S. WW2 also with manufacture ink markings. Comes supplied with a vintage non-U.S. leather chin strap with brass metalwork that displays nicely with the helmet. And has a genuine U.S. WW2 era M1 helmet ½" netting in green.
