A genuine U.S. Army World War 2 era M6 weapon tool case. This steel tool case was mainly used to house weapon tools for the .50 Cal Browning machine gun and the 37mm anti tank gun, plus was probably used for other weapons. Retains the majority of the original green paint, leather handle is in good shape and typically is perished on these cases, retains the two side catches in working order, plus the middle latch still clicks shut and releases properly (no key). This model M6 is a slightly larger version of the M5. Retains its original upper removable shelf and inside is nice and clean. It measures: 560mm x 205mm x 230mm (22" x 8" x 9").
