A very good example of a genuine U.S. Vietnam War era tropical jungle jacket. This is a 5th pattern jacket with short sleeves and made from cotton Rip-Stop Poplin. Right shoulder sleeve has an early cut-edge twill patch for the 18th Engineer Brigade, left shoulder sleeve has a late war merrow edge Army Engineer Command Vietnam patch, late war name and U.S. Army tape patches to chest, all the patches have shrinkage indicating they are period to the jacket. Issued in good condition with a couple of small marks, original manufactures labels present, the label size: Small-Regular, Chest 33"-37", Height from 67" to 71", DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number dated 1968 and was made by Bonham Manufacturing Co USA.

Additional size information: Armpit to armpit: 22" (Up to 44" chest). Shoulder to shoulder: 18". Length from shoulder to bottom: 30". Armpit to cuff 21".

*Please note that original jungle fatigue jackets are cut and sewn oversized (by about 5 inches in the chest over the size on the manufacturer label) this is to allow for loose wear and ventilation in a tropical environment.
