A genuine U.S. PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops) ballistic combat helmet, often referred to by the U.S. troops as 'The Kevlar' or 'The K-pot', it features a shell made from 19 layers of ballistic fabric Kevlar treated with a phenolic resin system and is rated at a Threat Level IIIA offering protection against shrapnel & ballistic threats. As used by the U.S. troops in the Iraq & Afghanistan wars. This helmet is in excellent condition and is in a size Medium, has a DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) contract number and is dated 1985, was made by Unicor USA. It retains its original webbing and chin strap & original U.S. sweatband. Helmet comes with a genuine U.S. PASGT helmet cover in Choc-Chip camouflage with DLA contract number dated 1990, has a genuine U.S. elastic helmet band with cat's eyes to back.
