A genuine U.S. made M1 helmet, liner & Mitchell cover. This M1 steel pot was manufactured by 'Parish Division of the Dana Corporation' who made M1 helmets for the U.S. Army between 1968-1970 and has a heat stamp number of: 4355, the helmet has been repainted, comes with a good quality reproduction adjustable chin strap attached. The liner is genuine U.S. made by Marmac with quick release suspension webbing and would have been made in the min to late 1970's, and has a genuine U.S. sweatband with DSA contract markings dated 1977, the nape strap is genuine U.S. with DLA contract details and is dated 1985. The Mitchell cover is genuine U.S. Vietnam War era and has a DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number dated 1974, on the outside of the cover is a genuine U.S. post-Vietnam war elastic band. A nice complete and affordable M1 helmet, perfect for reenacting.
