The Achievement Medal is a military decoration of the United States Armed Forces, and was first proposed as a means to recognize outstanding achievement or meritorious service of military personnel who were not eligible to receive the higher Commendation Medal or the Meritorious Service Medal. This original medal set was issued from 1974 onwards and is complete with ribbon bar and lapel pin and original blue Arrow storage box, medal is marked LI-GT and was made by Lordship Industries/Graco Industries.
