A genuine U.S. Vietnam War era ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) poncho liner. Unissued new old stock, third pattern made from two panels of rip-stop nylon fabric with a quilted polyester batting. Equiped with eight tie tapes to attach it to a poncho for extra warmth, also used as a sleeping bag. These ERDL poncho liners were also used to make tour jackets. Excellent condition with original labels, has DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number and is dated 1970, was made by Gibraltar Fabrics, USA.
