A genuine Vietnam War era Astrocom H-157/AIC Headset & Microphone as used by U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy pilots & aircrew. This headset was released in the early 1960's and was the successor to the H-78. Was issued with the M-87/AIC microphone, this headset allowed the microphone and attachment to be worn on either the left of right side. Microphone end appears to have been repaired at some point (as pictured), repair is holding and microphone has some movement. Retains the original cable and plug.
