A genuine U.S. PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops) ballistic combat helmet, often referred to by the U.S. troops as 'The Kevlar' or 'The K-pot', it features a shell made from 19 layers of ballistic fabric Kevlar treated with a phenolic resin system and is rated at a Threat Level IIIA offering protection against shrapnel & ballistic threats. As used by the U.S. troops in the Iraq & Afghanistan wars. This helmet is in excellent condition and is in a size medium, it retains its original webbing and chin strap & original U.S. sweatband/headband, has a SPO (System Program Office) contract number and is dated 2003, was made by Unicor USA. Helmet comes with a genuine U.S. PASGT helmet cover in Woodland camouflage with a DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) contract number and is dated 1980. Comes with a genuine U.S. elastic helmet band with cats eyes to back.
