A very good example of a genuine U.S. Air Force Vietnam War era tropical jungle jacket. This is a 4th pattern jacket with short sleeves and made from cotton Rip-Stop Poplin, it's in very good issued condition. Has name and branch with enlisted aircrew tape patches to chest, two early cut-edge staff sergeant shoulder sleeve rank patches, all the patches show shrinkage indicating they are period to the jacket. The label size: Medium-Regular, Chest 37"-41", Height up to 67” to 71”, manufactures label present with DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract label with a manufacturing date of 1969 and was made by Richard Wynn Enterprises Inc.
Additional size information: Armpit to armpit: 23" (Up to 46" chest). Shoulder to shoulder: 18". Length from shoulder to bottom: 31".
*Please note that original jungle fatigue jackets are cut and sewn oversized (by about 5 inches in the chest over the size on the manufacturer label) this is to allow for loose wear and ventilation in a tropical environment.
