A genuine U.S. World War 2 bayonet and scabbard made by the Union Fork and Hoe Company of Columbus, Ohio USA. The ricasso is stamped UFC along with the US/ignited grenade and the date 1943, the other side is stamped UC-MOD for Utica Cutlery who was contracted to modify the 16" 1905/42 blade to a shorter length. Blade length is 245mm/9.64".
