This U.S. M1942 OD7 cover has the double-hook belt attachment hanger to back with Klikit Pull fasteners, faint makers marks to bottom back, U.S. ink markings to font, was made by Bayes Manufacturing Co and is dated 1945. It comes with a genuine U.S. World War 2 U.S. M1942 canteen with cap & chain and was made by Vollrath and is also dated 1945.

WW2 OD7 canteen sets like this were re-used by the U.S. in the Korean War and also by the Marines & Instructors early in the Vietnam War.
