An excellent example of a genuine U.S. Army World War 2 pick mattock (pick axe) & carrier, the U.S. OD-3 tan canvas carrier is complete with double hook hanger and attachment strap, made by E.A. Brown Manufacturing Co and dated 1944. The wooden handle retains the majority of the original green paint and is U.S. marked, the pick/mattock is also U.S. marked and also retains the majority of the original green paint, this set appears unissued.
