Genuine U.S. Navy Vietnam War used short sleeve tropical jungle jacket 4th pattern. This very rare jacket was used in the Vietnam War by a U.S. Navy serviceman, they were part of the NAGV (Navel Advisory Group Vietnam) Night Watch - Swimmer Defense Unit 1. The Naval Advisory Group Vietnam was part of the Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV) who operated in Vietnam from 1960 to 1973. This jacket being issued has typical marks from use and is very good condition with no rips/tears or repairs, the original Naval Advisory Group Vietnam patch is on the right shoulder sleeve, and the original Night Watch - Swimmer Defense Unit 1 patch is on the left shoulder sleeve, both patches are very rare and both have shrinkage as pictured indicating they have been on this jacket for some time. There are two chest patches with the surname 'Wallace & U.S. Navy' both again have shrinkage as pictured. The jacket retains the size label: Medium-Regular, Chest 37"-41", Height up to 67" to 71", manufactures label also present with DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract label with a manufacturing date of 1969 and was made by Burges Manufacturing Inc.
