A genuine Vietnam War era Zippo lighter once owned by a member of a U.S. Airborne Division. The lighter has engraved/acid etched on the front the U.S. Parachute 'Jump Wings' insignia and also a soldier using a parachute next to it. It features the manufacturer’s machine stamped base that shows the correct period Zippo logo and date markings along with BRADFORD PA and the trademark logo, the date markings show a single vertical line on the left side of the Zippo logo that indicates it was made in 1973. The lighter mechanism also features machine stamped Zippo markings and fits nicely in the case and appears to be in working order, if you want to use the lighter it will require a new wick that we will include also included is a pack of flints (both official Zippo parts).

There were various Airborne units in Vietnam during the war with the 101st Airborne Division & the 82nd Airborne Divisions being the most well known.
