A genuine unissued Vietnam War era rucksack/indigenous ranger pack. Originally made by the U.S. company Natick Laboratories in Massachusetts for use by the South Vietnamese ARVN. It features water-resistant cotton with two outside pockets and mounted on a steel X frame, it has a webbing hanger for attaching an entrenching tool with side straps for carrying extra equipment. This pack was also favored by U.S. Special Forces/LRRP/SOG and was used instead of the much smaller butt pack as it offered greater carrying ability. Complete in excellent condition.
