Genuine Vietnam War era U.S. Army CWU-27/P flying coveralls. The coveralls are made from high temperature resistant nylon twill in sage green, and would have been issued for use during the late 60’s early 70’s. All the zippers and poppers are present and work correctly, the zippers are made by Scovill, on the left arm is an original cut edge 1st Air Cavalry patch, the coverall features multiple pockets for storage. In excellent condition with a few small marks and a small hole on the back bottom left leg. Missing the size/contract label, red ink stamp on the collar with a reference number and the letters DRMO (Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office), in 1972 the DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) created an organization to handle the disposal of military surplus, the red ink stamp was designed to prevent material being recirculated back into the military supply.
