A genuine World War 2 German M42 helmet made by Emaillerwerke AG, Fulda. Its stamped EF62 (Size 62) and has a batch/lot number that appears to read 062. This wartime M42 helmet was reissued to the BGS Bundesgrenzschutz (border guards), the helmet is a very early reissue that would have been a self-made by the BGS just after the war ended, rare to find wartime M42 with an early BGS liner attached.
