A genuine USN (United States Navy) APH-5 flight helmet made by Gentex Corporation, this particular model of helmet was manufactured in the late 1950's and was used throughout the 60's. The gold/bronze colour paintwork is in good shape with typical wear and tear signs, the blue 'split wings' on the front are unique to the U.S. Navy, the pull down tinted visor is present and the pull down bottom mechanism is in working order, leather padding to the inside of the helmet, Gentex label to bottom back of the helmet and it's a size Large.
