A rare World War 1 bayonet used by the RAF (Royal Air Force). This bayonet comes with its original scabbard and was made by J Chapman, the pommel is marked R.A.F along with the serial number 8065, the Ricasso has the broad arrow, inspection stamp and bend mark visible on one side and on the other side is the makers name Chapman, and shows the reign mark, 1907 pattern mark and manufacturer date of May 1918.
