A genuine U.S. Gentex DH-132A Combat Vehicle Crewman's helmet (CVC helmet). The DH-132 was first introduced into service by the U.S. in 1973 and replaced the T-56-6 CVC helmet. It's made from laminated ballistic nylon and was used by crewmembers requiring access to the vehicles communications system, it was used by both the Marines and Army in various combat vehicles. It has two MK-1697 headphones with speakers and the M-138/G boom microphone, and has a quick release connection cord with attachment clip. The helmet is unissued and in excellent condition with manufacture labels on both the ballistic shell and liner, its DLA (Defense Logistic Agency) marked and dated 1988.
