An excellent example of a genuine U.S. Air Force M1965 Field Jacket. The M65 jacket was introduced into U.S. military service in 1965 and was the replacement for the M51 jacket, it included a built in hood that could be rolled up into a pouch around the neck, it also had Velcro fasteners to the sleeve cuffs and collar and was widely used during the Vietnam War and continued to be used up until the late 90's.
This medium sized M65 jacket is in great shape with original name & USAF tab patches, air crew wings patch, combat crew patch, division patch, and on both arms Staff Sergeant rank patches. Zipper is in excellent working order and complete with original buttons. Its Post-Vietnam War dated with a DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) contact number and is dated 1978 made by So Sew Styles Inc, it comes with the detachable cold weather liner that is also DLA marked and dated 1981.
