A good example of a genuine issued Vietnam War era U.S. tropical jungle jacket. This is a 5th pattern jacket made from cotton Rip-Stop Poplin with patches removed, it’s in very good condition considering its been issued, with original manufacturing labels, the label size: Small-Regular, Chest 33"-37", Height 67" to 71", DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number dated 1969 and made by the Elder Manufacturing Co.
*Please note that original jungle fatigue jackets are cut and sewn oversized (by about 5 inches in the chest over the size on the manufacturer label) this is to allow for loose wear and ventilation in a tropical environment.
Additional size information: Armpit to armpit: 21" (Up to 42" chest). Shoulder to shoulder: 18". Length from shoulder to bottom: 31". Armpit to cuff: 20".
