An excellent example of a genuine U.S. Vietnam War era M1C Paratrooper helmet. This M1 steel pot was manufactured by Parish Division of the Dana Corporation who made helmets in 1968-1970 for the U.S. during the Vietnam War and has a heat stamp number of: 6531, has a genuine U.S. chin strap with Parish metalwork. The genuine U.S. P64 Paratrooper liner was made by Westinghouse Eclectic Co and is in very good condition, has DSA (Defense Supply Agency) ink contract markings to the suspension webbing with a manufactures date of December 1965, comes with a genuine U.S. nape strap with faded contract details & genuine U.S. sweatband with DSA contract number and dated 1974, has a genuine U.S. cotton web chin strap attached to A straps. The genuine U.S. Mitchell cover retains its original colours and is DSA contract marked dated 1974, comes with a good quality elastic helmet band with correct foliage colour. A very nice and complete M1 Paratroopers helmet.
