A genuine U.S. Army .30 caliber ammunitions box made by Reeves during World War 2, the same boxes were also used in the Korean War & Vietnam War. Box is in good condition retaining the majority of original paint, makers mark (Reeves) to side and 'Cal .30 Ammunitions Box' markings to front and back, original OD paintwork with carry handle to top. Used to store linked rounds for the M1917/M1919 Browning machine gun, these boxes were carried by troops and used with vehicle mounted .30 cal guns.
