A genuine U.S. grenade carrier vest for 40mm grenades used on the M79 & M203 grenade launcher. The vest is new old stock unissued in excellent condition, its designed to hold 20x HE 40mm grenades plus 4x 40mm pyrotechnic rounds. And can be worn over flak jackets and suspenders. Adjustable size strap to back with 'U.S.' ink markings to front. Size is medium and was made by Lite Industries Inc, it has a DSA (Defense Supply Agency) contract number and is dated 1977.
